Users online in my Yahoo! mail who are not among my contacts?
Why am I seeing on the left side of my Yahoo! mail under my contacts pane users who are online, usually busy, who are not listed as being one of my contacts? I know that I can hide the person's username by just moving the arrow next to contacts to vertical but how do I prevent them from coming online in my Yahoo! mail altogether? They are complete strangers. Hope someone can help.
Click on the “Contacts” tab from any profile page to view your Yahoo! Contacts. You will see all of your connections listed in the left hand column, each denoted with a blue connection icon. Click on a connection to display the contact information of this person. (You will see the blue connection icon next to the text “Connection” under his or her name). Next to this, you will see a “Remove” link. Simply click “Remove” to remove this user from your connections. If you don't want any Contact Connection, then on the mail screen click Options, then click Mail Options.. Under General, uncheck the box next to Connections, click Save Changes.
