What is going to happen with MY unemployment? Little help please?
I exhausted regular.benefits and moved to Washington state to try and get a job here. No luck not even a mcdonalds that will hire me! Outrageous it seems to me I know. I am also exhausting up to the 20% margin of Extended Benefits. I dont understand though what happens when I exhaust and go to 0%! Am I just screwed and plain out of luck or does my state give me one more extension? Please someone help Im just trying to get by and it seems all to confusing with the politcal mumbo jumbo and reading the internet when the articles go back to 2008 and 09 when I need 2010 and 2011 and all that.? Just a scrap of info would do it! And my original state of work was Texas where I got approved for the benefits.

Don't give up, keep looking for work, otherwise when your benefits run out you will learn how people on welfare have to live. It's not as great as people assume, to have the government control your daily life, putting you on a schedule to look for work and check in at the unemployment office every day and follow up, and check in with them daily with signatures from interviewers and bosses from all the places you went to. It's no picinic, it's degrading - wait til you lose Blue Cross. And it can happen to anyone.
