What are some modern First Nations issues?
I have a homework assignment to find out a few issues with First Nations. I need them to be the latest issues, because I know they have gotten their land taken away etc. I've been looking up everything, but nothing helpful comes up. And my eyes hurt so I can barely look at the screen 
Hundreds of missing and dead First Nations women. Many of whom were brutally raped and murdered.
Most of them are unsolved, and the Canadian Government for some reason doesn't want to bring it into light. Maybe its because they fear it will shatter their clean and serene image that the rest of the world sees them as. Or maybe its because the deaths of First Nations women doesn't mean much to them.
Its a mix of both I'd say.
