What happens when the ACT proctor takes away your test?
I have a friend who was just darkening his answer bubbles when the proctor came by and took his booklet, answer sheet, and told him to leave. My friend is a really smart guy and is worried that this will affect his educational record. Does getting your ACT test affect your records in any way and do colleges get notified of it? Can he cancel his scores before the test center does? He has already checked the ACT website and cannot find anything. Please help him. Thanks.
It sounds like your friend was cheating. Well, not cheating in the sense we think of, but if she took his booklet away because he was darkening bubbles it's because he was doing it before/after the alloted time. Thus, his scores will be canceled. I'm not sure if that will go on his permanent record, but he will not receive scores.
