A stamp collection, what value is placed?
I recently inherited an extensive stamp collection, and as far as I liked the person who gave it to me, I just have no interest. So I decided to sell it. I went to a dealer who offered me $ 4100.00 for eight albums. I decided a few checks on the line, the first 6 pages of an album, I came up with almost $ 10,000.00 in retail value. I know that retail is much higher than what is paid, but how? Where do I go? Thank you.
