if there is no return address on an envelope and non sufficient postage is stamped, what the post office do?
My R S V P envelopes were stamped with the wrong postage amount, if there is no return address on there just my address, what would the post office do? Is it illegal for them just to throw them away. Why wouldn't they deliver them to my house with postage due and make me pay for it.
What happens is the mail is delivered to the receiver and they are required to pay the remainng postage. If there is no one home at delivery time they are left notice that there is mail waiting for them at the post office called "undeliverable mail"
You may want to make some phone calls to your guests seeing they may not have all received their invites.
